Angels by Lang Leav

“It happens like this. 

"One day you meet someone and for some inexplicable reason, you feel more connected to this stranger than anyone else--closer to them than your closest family. Perhaps this person carries within them an angel--one sent to you for some higher purpose; to teach you an important lesson or to keep you safe during a perilous time. What you must do is trust in them--even if they come hand in hand with pain or suffering--the reason for their presence will become clear in due time."

Though here is a word of warning--you may grow to love this person but remember they are not yours to keep. Their purpose isn't to save you but to show you how to save yourself. And once this is fulfilled; the halo lifts and the angel leaves their body as the person exits your life. They will be a stranger to you once more.

Today is the day where I meet the angels and immediately I reminded myself, they are not mine to keep and of course I have to be in the know that someday they might no longer be the angels.

What is the What?

Quoted from Valentino's father ;

-God said,"You can either have these cattle, as my gift to you,or you can have the What.".......... "What is the What?".. And God said to the man," I cannot tell you. Still, you have to choose."

The man and the woman could see the cattle right there in front of them, and they knew that with the cattle they would eat and live with great contentment...... So the man chose the cattle...

He (GOD) was testing the man,to see if he could appreciate what he had been given, if he could take pleasure in the bounty before him rather than trade it for the unknown.

Often we all trade the pleasure in the bounty for the unknown. Because, the grass is always greener on the other side and there is nothing wrong about venturing into the unknown if it could or might could change your life. Because we human, never stop wanting things for ourselves. Enough is never enough because it is the new definition of wanting more.

After all, life is like gambling.

 It is all about making decision 

which feels right to us

 but wrong for others.

Sometimes

Sometimes, when I looked back, I regretted the years I let go of family for friends but mummy kept telling, things like that happened because I was young. She said, it is fine, you too need time. As much as it sounds comforting for that moment, I know that what I did was unforgivable. I still remember how she said it and it broke her heart so much. Nevertheless, she pretended that it didn't hurt her. That my friend, is what mothers do for their kids.

Sometimes, I did give up to fix my broken home. Then, friends came into the picture. They showed love and remind me of things that family cannot be compensated by anything in this whole world. Friendship alone isn't enough. They won't be there like how family does. So, I crawled back to mum. 

I hope someday I would be able to fix my broken home. I might need courage to do this plus lowering my ego. Sometimes, the reason why we fight too often is because we have so much in common. But we forget to see it from other people's perspective. 

We should all remind ourselves that you wont feel up for the world without family in the picture. You can have all the best things in the world yet without family , you are empty. If you think a loving and attentive partner is enough for you, let me tell you, it aint enough. Because the love of a father, a mother and siblings aren't equal to anything.
